Tarzan Coaster Designs.
Client: Walt Disney Imagineering.
Art Director: Myself.
Project Date: Summer 1998.
While working at WDI in the 90's I was on the Paris team for about a year working on various projects. I was the chief show designer on a "E" ticket high dollar attraction to be placed in Adventureland in Paris a Roller Coaster clad to look like a jungle ride.
As a "Part II" to this design exercise I was asked to do a version based on the upcoming new Feature Animation Tarzan. I did a few sketches you can see above. The Tarzan overlay was scrapped and we did some work on the Swiss Family Robinson Tree in Anaheim instead.
