Animation Cels
Client: Hearst Animation Productions.
Art Director: Myself.
Project Date: Late 1994.
The Phantom 2040 was done in the mid 90's and by this time, traditional Cel painting was being phased out and replaced with digital ink and paint systems. For the majority of my designs, I did marker color keys that were sent out to the ink and paint studio in Korea and Canada but we did have a few things painted out as cels. These Images represent those cels that were done as a test.
