Art Center 7th Term 1991
CALTY Project PART II

In this second Post on the design work I did as a student my 7th term at Art Center in the Transportation Design Class sponsored by California Toyota or CALTY which is responsible for advanced design for Toyota and Lexus.

For my project the theme was "Small and Secure" , and this was a second design I did. Normally we do one car per term, but I finished very early with the first one so I did a second concept and model.

This was a baby bonnet look concept I did with a hooded canopy over the greenhouse area of the car. It was a new take on the visor that you seen in the Futon Visors post WWII on the heavy iron cars. This second concept was made into a fifth scale foam model as with the yellow one prior for the project.

Cheers, THOM
