Phantom 2040 PART XV
Color Keys for Prop Designs

Client: Hearst Animation Productions. Art Director: Myself. Project Date: Fall 1993-4.

In this fifteenth post on the work I did while Art Director and Conceptual Designer at Hearst Animation Productions, I have here a variety of Props I designed that were then inked by the clean up department by Caesar. I then took a copy of the inked prop and did marker comp color keys. Some keys were converted to real cell painted tests but in 1993 the move to all digital inking was used so the cell were colored on a Mac in Korea. As a side note Sei Young Animation received the very first Mac in all of Korea in 1990.

Cheers, THOM
