Project Review:
Universal Studios Rose Parade Float 1998

Client: Universal Creative
Art Director: Dave Cobb
Project Date: Fall 1998

Back in 1998 I was re-contacted by Universal Creative after working on the MIB attraction for the Florida Park to help design a Parage Float for the Rose Parade held in Pasadena CA.

The theme was Jules Verne, or today would fall in the Steampunk category. Design a ship the can be lifted and float away as well as still float on the sea.

This was a quick job with about 10 Hrs of time and budget to complete. Today I can do a job of this scale in about a day.

Cheers, THOM
